Sound Painting Solutions, LLC is owned and operated by the husband-and-wife team of Jeff DuPont and Lindsey Mueller. Jeff is a third-generation painter with over ten years of painting experience in multiple realms. He began painting with his grandfather at a young age, and has been fully immersed in the painting trade since then. Jeff also successfully ran his father’s painting business in Eugene, Oregon, for four years. Lindsey is a 2016 Accounting graduate from the University of Washington Foster School of Business. Having grown up in Tucson, Arizona, Lindsey moved to Seattle in 2012 to pursue an education at UW and greater opportunities in a growing city.
In 2012, Jeff decided to pursue a new painting business in Seattle, and Sound Painting Solutions was born. Jeff and Lindsey shared a vision of creating a modern, quality and customer service driven painting company. We strive to execute this vision through every step of the customer process. We do this by providing prompt and attentive service, harnessing the latest technology to improve our processes, hiring only qualified employees, using premium-quality products, and performing thorough preparation and application techniques. Since our vision and goals aren’t possible without a great team of like-minded people, we also strive to foster an exceptional working environment for our growing team of employees.
Sound Painting Solutions, LLC is fully licensed, bonded, and insured in the state of Washington. We are also lead-safe certified by the EPA. We provide interior and exterior painting services for both residential and commercial properties in the Seattle area, Bellevue, and the East Side.

We strive to provide our clients with a paint job that not only looks great, but will stand the test of time. We do this by using premium-quality products and thorough prep/application techniques. We have also made it our mission to provide constant, open lines of communication and friendly, attentive customer service. In addition, all of our painting staff are legal employees of our company and are covered by workers’ compensation insurance (you may check a contractor’s insurance status at lni.wa.gov). We value our employees and pay a fair wage along with benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and retirement. We strongly believe that doing all of these things allows us to deliver the best possible customer experience, but it does come at a cost. And while there may always be variations in bids from different contractors, bids that are significantly low likely fall quite short of these standards. We highly recommend comparing quotes of similar companies that focus on the aspects you value most in order to make your hiring decision.
Painting companies can range greatly in terms of the quality of workmanship and customer service provided. When comparing estimates, the bottom line is not always the most important factor. Other things you might want to consider include:
- Per state requirements, have you verified that the company is bonded, insured, and licensed to perform the work?
- How much preparation will the contractor perform on the surfaces?
- What kind of products will they use?
- How long has the company been in business?
- How will they compensate their employees?
- What do past customers say about the company and their work?
- Do they offer a warranty/guarantee on their work?
- How has the customer service been thus far?

Our proposals contain all of our contract terms so there are no surprises for you. When you decide you would like to work with us, you may simply e-sign the proposal within your customer portal. Upon receipt of your 10% deposit, we will coordinate scheduling the work with you.
At the beginning of the job, we will walk through the space with you in order to confirm the scope of work and discuss any important items.
During the job, we keep you in the loop on our progress and are always receptive to any questions or concerns you may have.
Finally, when our work is complete, we conduct a final walkthrough with you to confirm that the work was performed satisfactorily. If any touch-ups are needed, we remedy these areas as quickly as possible. This does not negate your two-year warranty, and we are happy to come back at any time during the warranty period as needed. After this inspection and any necessary touch-ups, we collect final payment.
We strive to provide the highest level of quality in our work. If you are not satisfied, our job is not truly complete. We are happy to return to the worksite to ensure we have provided the level of quality we strive for and promise. In the event of a problem that cannot be remedied, talk with us and we’ll see what we can do, whether it be a discount, refund, etc. For your peace of mind, Sound Painting Solutions offers a two-year warranty on all standard interior and exterior projects. Should any issues arise related to the workmanship of the job in the future, we promptly fix it – free of charge!
