This November we had the privilege of participating in the “Painting a Better Tomorrow” event, hosted by the Master Builders Association of King County (MBAKS). This volunteer project aimed to transform a nonprofit space with a fresh coat of paint, and we able donate our services to be apart of this transformation.

A New Look for the Bellevue Boys & Girls Club

Master Builders Association decided to focus on transforming the Bellevue Boys & Girls Club. This space is a vital community center serving local children and teens. In 2023, they served over 16,200 kids, with more than 3,200 registered members, through a variety of programs designed to support their growth and provide a safe space for kids. The organization offers transportation from local schools, multiple after school programs, summer programs, and even scholarships opportunities.

The Boys & Girls Club provides a safe, supportive environment where young people can learn, grow, and thrive. Knowing that our efforts would help create a fresh and welcoming space made the day even more rewarding for our team.

The Power of a Fresh Coat of Paint

With 11 of our painters volunteering their time and skills, we worked alongside MBAKS members and other community volunteers to brighten the facility. Painting is more than just a job for us—it’s a way to make a meaningful impact. A well-maintained, cheerful environment can uplift spirits and make a difference in how children feel when they walk through the doors.

In collaboration with the MBAKS team, we transformed the facility’s interior walls. The smiles and gratitude from staff and volunteers were a testament to the event’s success!

Why We Give Back

At Sound Painting Solutions, we understand the impact that a fresh coat of paint can have in a space along with the importance of donating our services to community organizations like the Boys and Girls Club. Partnering with organizations like MBAKS aligns with our commitment to improving lives beyond our day-to-day work.

We want to thank the Master Builders Association of King County for organizing this event and allowing us to be part of something truly special. We’re proud to support their mission of creating better spaces for nonprofits that play such an essential role in our community. In addition to their “Painting a Better Tomorrow” initiative, MBAKS offers a variety of programs that contribute to the well-being and growth of our local community.

Join Us in Giving Back

Since our founding in 2012 it’s been important for us to give back to our community. Each year we work on multiple volunteer projects and are always looking for new organizations that we can donate our services to. If you know of a nonprofit that could use our help, please reach out—we’d love to be part of their story.
